Ron Kruhlak Honoured by Alberta Emerald Foundation

Congratulations to Ron Kruhlak, who last night was honoured by the Alberta Emerald Foundation (AEF).

Ron, along with Rod McLennan and Bill Rosser, founded the AEF twenty years ago. Ron served eighteen years on the Board of Directors, including time as Chair. In honour of his commitment and hard work AEF and McLennan Ross LLP are pleased to introduce the Ron Kruhlak Award. This $1,000 sponsorship will be presented to the recipient(s) of the Emerald Award in the Youth category for the next ten years.

McLennan Ross was also recognized at the event as a founding sponsor and continuing patron of the Emerald Awards.

The awards were created by the Alberta Foundation for Environmental Excellence to recognize the outstanding initiative and leadership of Albertans in meeting environmental challenges. All individuals, organizations and corporations throughout the province are encouraged to participate.

The Alberta Foundation for Environmental Excellence was founded in the fall of 1991 to recognize the outstanding initiative and leadership Albertans are demonstrating in the face of many environmental challenges. The Foundation brings together a group of resourceful organizations committed to ensure recognition of the significant strides being made by Albertans to protect, preserve and enhance our environment.
