Heenan Blaikie Lawyers Join McLennan Ross

McLennan Ross is pleased to announce that Robb Beeman and Lori Brienza have joined the Calgary office of law firm McLennan Ross LLP. Robb and Lori both practiced at Heenan Blaikie LLP prior to its dissolution earlier this month.

Robb Beeman joins McLennan Ross as a senior litigator practicing, commercial litigation and labour and employment. Over the course of his extensive career, Robb has handled a wide range of cases, including those dealing with taxation, product liability, trade secrets, oil and gas, land claims, injunctions, wrongful dismissal and insurance. In his practice, Mr. Beeman acts on behalf of individuals, corporations and governments and assists his clients through the mechanisms of judicial dispute resolution, private mediation and arbitration.

Lori Brienza is an associate practicing in commercial litigation, labour & employment and immigration law. Her labour and employment expertise includes advising organizations in the areas of wrongful dismissal, progressive discipline, employment and labour standards, workers’ compensation, human rights, privacy, and business immigration. Ms. Brienza’s litigation experience includes acting on matters in the areas of insurance defence, professional liability, contractual disputes, franchise law, shareholder disputes, securities regulation, and environmental law.
