2011 Emerald Awards - Winners Announced
The 20th Emerald Awards took place last night at the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton.
The Emerald Awards are handed out each year to promote public and private environmental awareness in Alberta.
The winners this year were:

- City of Edmonton - Government Instiution
- ION Print Solutions - Business
- Off the Creek Landowners - Community Group
- Suncor Energy Inc. - Emerald challenge Award
- Linda Wright (Brightview School) - Education - School or Classroom
- Agrium Inc. - Education - Non-formal
- Bighorn Backcountry Monitoring Group - Emerald Awards Certified Shared Footprints Award
- Don & Marie Ruzicka - Individual Commitment
- The University of Alberta Students' Union - Youth
