As you are already aware from a notice sent in December 2018, Erin Ludwig joined the McLennan Ross Labour and Employment group. We have since added additional strength to our team to help serve you better. We would like to welcome Tim Mitchell and Rebecca Silverberg to our already pre-eminent Labour and Employment group.

Tim and Rebecca are both joining the McLennan Ross Calgary office. They are joining our firm with previous experience at an international firm and bring a wealth of experience and exceptional client service along with them.

Tim Mitchell is a well-recognized and trusted legal advisor in Western Canada for employers in both the public and private sector. Starting with the Laird Armstrong law firm (which then became Armstrong Mitchell and subsequently Norton Rose), he has spent his entire legal career focused on advocating for provincially and federally regulated employers on matters related to workplace law which had him acting as lead counsel on a number of notable labour, employment and workplace human rights cases in Alberta, and before federal boards and courts.

Rebecca Silverberg’s practice is also focused on management-side labour and employment law. She routinely advises on discipline and dismissal issues, policy development and implementation, hiring and employment agreements, workplace investigations, disability and illness management, and day-to-day labour relations matters. She provides strategic, practical, and timely advice to her clients.

With these additions, we look forward to offering you even greater depth of legal service on our team, which is the largest and most experienced labour and employment practice group representing employers in Alberta and the North.
