Michael Wade is a student-at-law in our Calgary office.

He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary, where he also earned a Bachelor of Arts with distinction, majoring in Communication and Culture. As a law student, Michael received the Faculty of Law Scholarship and the Owen Saunders Prize in Public International Law. As an undergraduate, he made the Dean’s List and received the Jason Lang Scholarship and Communication, Media, and Film Scholarship for Academic Excellence.

During law school, Michael worked as a Chief Technical Officer and Student at the University of Calgary, Faculty of Law, Business Venture Clinic. He also worked as a summer student at the Policy & Education Department of the Law Society of Alberta. Furthermore, Michael volunteered as a case worker for Student Legal Assistance.

Michael spent part of his undergraduate degree as a teaching assistant in Business Law at the Haskayne School of Business in Calgary, assisting students in academic writing.

Outside of law, Michael enjoys cycling, cooking, and climbing.
