Marco is a skilled litigator who represents clients in a wide range of disputes. He applies his considerable experience before courts and administrative tribunals to successfully defend his clients’ best interests.
Marco’s diverse practice includes commercial litigation, insurance and risk management, professional discipline, and municipal matters. He has significant experience litigating contractual disputes and negligence claims, routinely representing energy companies, engineering firms, landlords, accounting firms, and an array of commercial organizations. Marco has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, and many administrative tribunals including the Municipal Government Board and the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta Discipline Tribunal.
Marco advises national and international insurers on risk, both as defence and coverage counsel, in relation to auto, carrier, property, products liability, commercial liability, professional liability, and life insurance claims. In his capacity as defence counsel, Marco has assisted in the representation of individuals, insurance brokers, ranchers, property managers, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, malls, accountants, manufacturers, restaurants, trades, and sub-trades.
Marco’s legal prowess extends to advising and representing clients at all stages of professional disciplinary proceedings. He has helped professionals including accountants, dentists, and architects protect their professional licenses.
