Kayla is a lawyer in our Yellowknife office, where she advises clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity financing transactions, and a variety of general corporate and commercial matters. She has experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and various corporate documents.
Before joining McLennan Ross, Kayla was a corporate associate in Calgary, where she worked on high-profile transactions and advised corporations with respect to various stages of mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
Kayla earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary and holds a Bachelor of Management with distinction from the University of Lethbridge, equipping her with both legal expertise and a strong business acumen.
She is known for her analytical approach, practical problem-solving skills, and dedication to client success. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for strategic thinking, she thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working collaboratively to find creative legal solutions.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors with her dog.
