Jennifer is a fierce advocate who approaches each matter with ingenuity, creativity, and empathy. She enjoys finding cost-effective and productive solutions to address her clients’ legal challenges.
Jennifer’s diverse practice includes litigation, insurance and risk management, construction, privacy, and health law. She represents corporations and individuals in a variety of commercial litigation disputes including those involving property damage, negligence, and contractual disputes. She also works with national insurers on an array of insurance matters including commercial builder’s liability, property damage, and product and services liability claims. Jennifer has experience working on multi-party files and regularly represents owners, general contractors, and subcontractors on large commercial and industrial projects.
Jennifer is particularly adept at advising and representing clients with respect to complex delay claims and analysis of procurement breaches, both from a construction and a privacy standpoint. She is also skilled in providing opinions and assistance on privacy-related matters including HIA, PIPA, FOIP, PIPEDA.
Accomplished in the courtroom and resolute in the pursuit of her clients’ interests, Jennifer has appeared in both the Provincial Court and the Court of King's Bench. She also has experience with alternative dispute resolution, including mediations, arbitrations, and judicial dispute resolutions.
Jennifer believes in building strong, long-lasting, and collaborative relationships with her clients. She takes the time to truly understand the full scope of her clients’ needs and aligns her legal solutions accordingly. She excels at highlighting the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities of a case while focusing on how to mitigate issues and potential threats.
Active in the Edmonton community, Jennifer is the Vice-Chair for the Zebra Child Protection Centre.
