Jared adopts a proactive, engaged, and open-minded approach to advising clients. His commitment to outstanding service and practical legal advice helps clients achieve their goals while managing potential risks effectively.
His practice areas include bankruptcy and insolvency, labour and employment, commercial litigation, and insurance defence.
Jared works with a diverse client base including major regional banks, industrial suppliers, and large employers.
Jared's experience in comprehensive legal research is particularly focused on labour and employment matters and general tort litigation. Furthermore, he is proficient in drafting demand letters, applications, affidavits, briefs, questioning materials and submissions for complex fraud and construction disputes as well as disputes and interpretations related to collective agreements.
Jared has appeared before mediators at the Court of Justice level and before Justices and Applications Judges of the Alberta’s Court of King's Bench on a variety of matters. He has successfully handled foreclosures, court-ordered asset sales, applications for service, and the dismissal of tort claims.
Jared authored a book entitled “Our Stories – Fighting Mental Illness”, which was published July 2017 by the Antarctic Institute of Canada.
