Douglas is a dedicated senior litigator and advocate, who focuses on insurance defense litigation, with a strong emphasis on defending construction contractors, architects, and engineers’ errors and omissions liability. He also represents healthcare professionals, insurance brokers, property appraisers, and public auctioneers in professional liability claims. Douglas defends parties in general commercial litigation, product liability, and insured human rights claims. He has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, appearances before administrative boards, and appearances before all levels of court in Alberta.
