Prior to completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta in 2019, Madyson received a Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice – Honours) with a minor in Business Administration from Mount Royal University.
During law school, Madyson was actively involved with Student Legal Services. She worked as a caseworker for the Criminal Project where she appeared in Provincial Court for a trial and sentencing hearings. Madyson also volunteered with the Legal Education & Reform Project and was elected as Coordinator for the project. In this role, Madyson organized legal information outreaches, presentations, and other events directly serving Edmonton’s low-income population.
Madyson also volunteered with Edmonton Community Legal Centre, Law Show, and played on the law school rugby team. Outside of law, Madyson enjoys walking her beloved dog, going to concerts, and playing sports.
