• Represents national insurers and corporations in the capacity of claims and coverage counsel
• Has represented defendants and insurers in professional liability/errors and omissions actions involving insurance brokers, agents and surveyors
• Also represents insurers in professional liability involving physicians and surgeons and members of the Edmonton Police Service, both in administrative hearings and civil actions
• Began her career working in the areas of insurance and medical malpractice, and also worked with Alberta Justice in Civil Litigation in the areas of fatality inquiries, childrens’ services and class actions

• Has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and has participated in mediations and judicial dispute resolutions

Education

• Prior to completing her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta, Anita obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of British Columbia
